Our staff member visited many resort properties and here
are a few of many photos. The
Mexican Riviera is beautiful. The wide,
white sand beaches, lined with palm trees,
go on forever in most areas and jungle is
always in the backdrop. The water is
blue and green Caribbean Sea that is as
clear as can be. Great for
snorkeling and any kind of watersport.
It is a great location to see everything
from Mayan Ruins to Ecological Parks. You
can swim with the dolphins here and in
Cancun. ATV driving, speedboats and
horseback riding are all available for
fun.
Playa del Carmen is a growing
village with many shopping vendors and
eating places. There are several
resorts just on the edge of town within
walking distance or a short cab ride.
Cancun is a bit different in that it has a
"hotel zone" built along the
Caribbean Sea with the same white sand
beaches and beautiful water, but allows
you to have many activities available to
you within minutes - water activities,
tours of the ruins, dining, nightclubs and
shopping. You can ferry over to Isla
Mujeras - a small island within about 45
minutes and spend the day roaming about on
a golf cart, shopping or dining.
There are several resorts on the island,
too.
Cozumel is also just an hour or so away by
ferry and is known for its great diving
reefs and has much the same beauty as you
will find on the Mayan Riviera.
