With this Australia tour, you'll always visit the key sights--the Opera House in Sydney, the Glowworm caves in Waitomo New, the great Barrier Reef at Cairns, and many others.  You'll enjoy more inclusions like cruises, trains, and local guides.  By including all the must-see sights, we not only bring you great experiences, we also ensure that you end up with more time to enjoy the rest of your destination.

Here is a scaled down version of the Australia - New Zealand itinerary, each day is packed with fun!  


Day 1 & 2:
Board your transpacific flight and skip a day as you cross the International Date Line.
Day 3:  Arrival in Christchurch, New Zealand
Day 4:  Christchurch - A day of sightseeing including a drive up the winding Summit Road for views of Lyttleton Harbour, then past Christchurch's old stone buildings, the charming Avon River and acres of green parks.
Day 5:  Christchurch - Queenstown - Today enjoy fantastic views as you rjourney through the snowcapped peaks, waterfalls and rugged mountain scenery of New Zealand's Southern Alps.
Day 6:  Queenstown - A full-day at leisure on your own for discovery. Choices include visiting the World Heritage Fjordland National Park or a thrilling jetboat ride down the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers.
Day 7:  Queenstown  - Auckland Fly to Auckland, the "City of Sails," located on an isthmus between two magnificent harbors.  Visit Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter, where you will see colonies of penguins playing in real ice and snow.  Then travel beneath the ocean to see a giant stingray and mora ells, and come face to face with sharks.

Day 8:  Auckland
- Today enjoy a full day to pursue your own interests.  Travel through New Zealand's largest dairy and sheep farming province to Waitomo Glowworm Caves for a guided tour throu caverns lit by thousands of tiny glowworms.
Day 9:  Auckland - Cairns - Fly to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and enjoy the Tjapukai Aboriginal Culture Park.
Day 10:  Cairns, Great Barrier Reef Excursion - Sightseeing includes the Parliament House, the Shrine of Remembrance, Fitzroy Gardens, Victorian Arts Centre and other places of interest.
Day 11:  Cairns - Sydney - Fly to Cairns, Australia's largest city, Sydney.
Day 12:  Sydney  - Early risers may want to begin the day with an optional hot-air-balloon ride over the lush tablelands.  Later fly to Australia's largest city, Sydney, where your hotel is located in easy walking distance to the harbor.
Australia Itinerary Sydney Opera HouseDay 13:  Sydney - Full day at your leisure. Do an optional excursion like climbing to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge and stop at the Taronga Zoo.  Enjoy a special Farewell Dinner at a waterfront restaurant with fantastic views of the highlights of Sydney.
Day 14: Your homebound flight arrives the same day.
