Hawaii

The magnificent Akaka Falls on the island of Hawaii. Humana Bay, this beach is very beautiful and easy snorkeling.  We saw lots of fish and the water is very clear.  Be sure to arrive early in the morning before it gets crowded.  The sunset is on Waikiki in front of the Outrigger Reef Hotel on the beach.  A beautiful hotel.  -Braun, Rosholt, SD

Ka`anapali Beach, Maui

Taken from the balcony at the Ka`anapali Beach Hotel in Maui. It is a lovely hotel with a live band every night and we would sit outside and enjoy it.  We enjoyed their breakfast buffet every morning.  We were 4-5 minutes walk from the Whalers Mall where there were more eating places and shopping.

Chowdri Bazaar Metro Stop in Old Delhi India

Old Delhi, IndiaI boarded Delhi’s ultra – modern metro system. Unlike anything else in Delhi, it is spotless, cool and efficient. I was not prepared for the chaos that awaited me. I walked up the chrome and marble clad stairway into what you see in the picture. This was the Delhi I had come to see. The ancient winding bazaar streets bustling with energy and commerce. It is not for the faint of heart as every vendor, rickshaw driver and the usual touts will aggressively pursue you. Be bold – ignore them unless you are truly interested in their wares or services. It might seem rude, but every Delhi-ite who I talked to tried to extract money from me. Asking directions is an invitation to be sent to a stall selling trinkets at overpriced rates. I enjoyed the energy and the medieval feel of this part of the town. There were no lions and tigers and bears but plenty of, camels, elephants, buffalo, bullocks, wandering cows and thieving monkeys.      --Dillon

Sanibel Island, Florida
Sanibel Island Sunset

I was on a  beach escape with a girl friend. Being a morning person, I decided to head down to the beach and catch a sunrise. I wasn't disappointed. It was the most spectacular sight. Flocks of gulls, pelicans, turns, sand pipers, ospreys and pods of dolphins. It was nature in all her glory!

Hawaii

While on a holiday Holland America Cruise to Hawaii, my girlfriend surprised me with a flight lesson. I have a pilots license but hadn't flown in years, so she made arrangements for an instructor to ride along while I flew us around Maui county. I flew us over shipwrecks, whales, sunken submarines, and beautiful scenery. In this picture I am circling over our ship before heading back to the airport.
